Impressions from collaborators, audiences, and students
My son has been studying piano with Ms Kristina Kebet, Bruxelles since the age of 7 for the last 6 years. For me, Kristina is a perfect teacher. Not only is she a performer in her own right - and a spectacularly good one at that, she is also able to teach the instrument. I’ve found that often people can do one (like performance )but not teach well. Kristina can do both, and very well.
For me, the best thing about her teaching style is that she works in an organic , fluidic way according to the child’s personality. As every child or person is different, so is Kristina’s teaching style with each one.
Obviously she’s patient, as you would expect from a teacher, but she also brings humour with her teaching which children (certainly my child) is drawn to.
My so has progressed from simple beginner pieces , and has, over these 6 years mastered a variety of styles from Baroque (Pachelbel Canon) to Romantic (Mozart, Beethoven), a Ravel duet, Einaudi, Debussy ( Des pas sur la neige) and is currently learning his favorite film score - Star Wars main theme - what other!!
For anyone with an interest, child or adult, I would happily recommend Kristina as their teacher.
Kristina has been teaching piano to my son for four years. She is a passionate teacher who carefully observes each student’s potential and adapts the learning process to their needs, abilities, and motivation.
Her pedagogical approach is attentive to the child’s musical interests and preferences, which greatly supports both their progress and their enjoyment of playing.
